Welcome to the 2019 Senior Survey. This is a feature produced annually by The Torch in which we attempt to give voice to an entire graduating class. The responses we get to our questions are always as varied as the members of the graduating class themselves. Some are serious, some sarcastic, some emotional and others stoic. Whatever the tone, though, we hope that in some small way this serves to preserve all of those different voices.

The theme we chose for the survey this year is “Words to Live By.” We love the poignant, insightful, beautiful, and sometimes extremely silly quotes chosen by our seniors and wanted to pay homage to the idea of the “senior quote.” We’ve added some of our own favorite quotes to the spread and hope that they add some additional wit and wisdom to that already collected here. These are your words, Class of 2019; may you find connection and inspiration in them. Congratulations!
