Each year six students from Livermore High School (LHS) and Granada High School (GHS) are nominated for the Olympian Scholar Award. This prestigious award is offered to students for showing excellence in academics, athletics, citizenship, and sportsmanship.

Each nominee is invited to attend the Olympian Banquet, where they receive their plaque, commemorating their achievements. Two winners from both high schools are selected, and are honored as Olympian Award Scholarship Recipients.

The winners are granted a $2,500 scholarship, and the other eight finalists are granted a $750 scholarship.

The 2021 LHS finalists were Kinsey Claudino, Cameron Ho, Tyler Martin, Jaxson Mosby, Shaun Smith, and Viviana Valenton.

The 2021 GHS finalists were Sophia Anderson, Carter Bailey, Hannah Callahan, Wesley Chiba, Shae Hill, and Anthony Molleson.

Due to COVID 19, the banquet has been cancelled but the finalists’ accomplishments and speeches can be found on the Livermore-Granada Boosters website. The ceremony itself can also be found on the CowboyAlleyPro YouTube channel.

The recipients for GHS were Shae Hill and Carter Bailey and the recipients for LHS were Kinsey Claudino and Shaun Smith.
