Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District has announced that an entirely new school schedule will be implemented starting March 10 with an expected switch to hybrid learning on March 22. This schedule includes timetables for remote and hybrid students.

With the 2020-2021 school year coming into its last trimester at Livermore High School, the LVJUSD school board has decided that a hybrid system will be available to those who want to finish the school year on campus.

In late February, the LHS administration sent out a form to parents and students inquiring if they would like to continue a completely online distance learning system or be a part of the hybrid schedule.

This form is due by March 5, 2021 and if not filled out, the student will automatically be placed in the fully online distance learning system.

New class times will be in place for both distance and hybrid systems. These times will have classes in the morning rather than in the afternoon, as the classes have been for the previous two trimesters.

The new schedule for both distance and hybrid was sent out Feb. 26.

Updates to this story will be posted as they are released by the school board.
