Livermore High School’s Vice Principal Roxana Mohammed was awarded the Association of California School Administrators Region 6 Co-Administrator of the Year.

An email went out from LHS’ administration saying, “Congratulations to Vice Principal Roxana Mohammed for being selected as the Association of California School Administrators Region 6 Co-Administrator of the Year! ACSA Region 6 covers all of Alameda County and Contra Costa County so this recognition is quite an honor.  Thank you Mrs. Mohammed for all that you do for students, parents and staff.”

Mohammed said after receiving the award that she was embarrassed and explained that she is,“not one for public recognition.” Despite feeling slightly embarrassed, Mohammed said, “it was nice to be recognized.”

This award is given out annually to officials that have demonstrated outstanding performance within their districts or regions. It distinguishes the winners and their district for their good performance and achievements as administrators.

The award also comes with the ACSA Region 6 Awards Dinner, where all of the various winners in Region 6 will be recognized and honored. The date for this event has not been determined or publicly announced on the ACSA website.
