The new year has begun and it is never to early to be charitable. From January 6th to the 31st, Livermore High School students are encouraged to donate blankets. Students can bring their new or gently used blankets to room 502, the library, or the office. The blankets will be given to those in need.

The students have not yet decided upon an organization to give the donations. According to Lynette Reisdorf, Livermore High School’s Leadership teacher, the students donated to Tri-Valley Haven last year. Tri-Valley Haven is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping the community.

As they continue to look for an organization to donate to, Reisdorf says the students are pleased with the amount of donations that have been made and are “very happy with the response,” from the student body.
